Preconstruction Analytics Engineer (Construction)

What you will do

• Gather, prepare, and load historical cost data from internal and external sources.
• Produce reports, insights, and escalation analyses for specified date ranges and locations.
• Monitor estimate data quality through metadata health checks, line-item reviews, and team coaching.
• Update the Beck Cost Index and support quarterly projection updates.
• Contribute to the bi-annual Beck Cost Report by preparing comparisons, updating workbooks, and incorporating feedback.
• Support analytics dashboards, DESTINI Estimator best practices, and functionality in Beck’s Excel Bid Tab.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of building construction.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Interest in integrated project delivery, process improvement, and construction technology.
• Willingness to learn and receive mentorship from Senior Preconstruction Managers.
• Ability to communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and project team members.
• Ability to work around job sites, including uneven surfaces, stairs, outdoor conditions, and equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
