OCI Cloud Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale, secure, and resilient Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
• Design landing zones and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Lead workload migrations and ongoing operations for mission-critical Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.
• Manage OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, database services, and Oracle Kubernetes Engine.
• Implement CI/CD, automation, observability, cost optimization, and incident response practices.
• Partner with database, application, and security teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and eligible to work as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, EAD Holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, including strong hands-on OCI experience; the position lists 6+ years of experience overall.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Production experience with Terraform, OCI services, OKE, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security, IAM, compliance, observability, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud or Autonomous Database at scale.
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures using OCI and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with FinOps and regulated workloads on OCI.
