SAP Basis Consultant (SAP BTP)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate extensions and side-by-side applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Develop clean-core extensions for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications.
• Implement integration scenarios across application development, integration, data, analytics, and AI services.
• Design and consume OData v2/v4 services using SAP BTP technologies.
• Apply multi-tenant SaaS architecture, SAP integration best practices, and CI/CD patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of SAP development experience, including significant hands-on SAP BTP experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model in Node.js and/or Java.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData v2/v4, BTP runtimes such as Cloud Foundry or Kyma, and BTP services.
• Working knowledge of XSUAA, SAP IAS, SAP IPS, CI/CD tooling, SAP S/4HANA extension patterns, and clean-core principles.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are eligible. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• SAP-certified BTP developer credentials.
• Experience with SAP Build, Workflow, Business Rules, or Document Management Service.
• Exposure to SAP AI Core and hyperscaler AI service integrations.
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite/CPI and multi-tenant SaaS applications on BTP.
