PeopleTools Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, install, configure, upgrade, and operate enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
• Manage PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager, image applications, and Selective Adoption activities.
• Configure security and operate PeopleSoft application, process scheduler, search, WebLogic, and Tuxedo servers.
• Administer integrations with cloud and middleware platforms, including PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Operate high-availability and disaster-recovery environments while troubleshooting production issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; contribute to code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience, with six or more years of overall experience required for the position.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application and process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for PeopleSoft and working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix and shell scripting skills, plus experience with PeopleSoft high availability and disaster recovery.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience operating PeopleSoft on OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD patterns for PeopleSoft change management.
