Principal Associate, Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Card Tech)

Salary: $161,800–$184,600 gross annual salary in McLean, plus performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
• Build and maintain authentication tools for the Empath Platform.
• Develop frontend and backend applications deployed in AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Agile engineering teams and digital product managers.
• Use relational and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
• Experience with one or more of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• Experience with cloud services, open-source frameworks, and Agile practices.
• Employment authorization sponsorship or immigration-related support is not available for this position.

• Experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
