Senior QA Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas, USA; US citizenship required.

Salary: $86,900–$146,438 USD annually for US-based employees.

What you will do

• Characterize product quality across a continuous SaaS delivery model.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for the Data Access Security control plane and customer-data connectors.
• Design and execute end-to-end tests across user interfaces, REST APIs, and backend data outcomes.
• Test application onboarding, crawling, permissions collection, data classification, activity monitoring, forensics, certifications, and alerts.
• Work with developers, internal stakeholders, and customers to reproduce issues, isolate defects, and verify resolutions.
• Lead testing strategy, quality metrics, and automated validation routines for major product releases.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience testing enterprise software, preferably SaaS or cloud-native products.
• Experience testing distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and asynchronous or event-driven workflows.
• Ability to develop and maintain test cases and execute end-to-end tests across UI, APIs, and data processing outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with software development engineers on problem reproduction and resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with technical and functional stakeholders.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; US citizenship and onsite work in Austin, Texas are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
• REST API testing experience with Postman or similar tools.
• SQL and database experience, especially SQL Server.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, cloud file storage, Snowflake, Databricks, or on-premises file systems.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, identity governance, access certifications, or data classification.
