Head of Product — Canadian Solutions

Location: Hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Toronto office; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Some travel is required.

Annual base salary: $175,000–$195,000 CAD, plus discretionary bonus and/or commission.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and planning for Canadian audit, assurance, and financial reporting solutions.
• Define portfolio investments, retirements, business cases, and build, buy, or partner recommendations.
• Represent Canadian customer and market needs, maintain relationships with Canadian firms, and engage with standard-setters and industry bodies.
• Keep Canadian solutions aligned with CPA Canada standards, including CAS, ASPE, ASNPO, and IFRS as adopted in Canada.
• Set quality and standards-compliance expectations and identify delivery risks early.
• Lead, hire, and develop the product management team while partnering with sales, customer success, and marketing on launches, pricing, packaging, and retention.

Requirements

• CPA (Canada) in good standing is required.
• Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
• Active public accounting practice within the last ten years.
• 10+ years of public accounting experience, or combined public accounting and product management experience.
• Deep knowledge of current Canadian audit and accounting standards, with the ability to interpret future standards.
• Experience leading and growing teams, prioritizing across competing demands, presenting strategy to senior audiences, and collaborating with sales, customer success, and marketing.
