TL;DR
QA Engineer II (Cypress/JavaScript): Building and validating software for Hospital Quality Reporting with an accent on automated testing, API quality, compliance, and continuous delivery. Focus on designing comprehensive test plans, expanding Cypress coverage, conducting performance and security testing, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD quality from code commit through production deployment.
Location: Remote, United States. Applicants must be US citizens or Green Card holders, have been US residents for at least the past 3 years, and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Collaborate with engineering teams, external teams, and client stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with software specifications and user requirements.
- Document, prioritize, and track defects while coordinating timely resolution.
- Increase automated test coverage, speed, and accuracy for continuous integration and deployment.
- Conduct performance and security testing and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish quality metrics, standards, and continuous improvement practices across the SDLC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of development experience.
- Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL, and API testing, preferably Postman.
- Experience with Cypress and/or JavaScript, frontend frameworks such as Angular, and TestRail.
- Cloud experience, ideally with AWS, plus knowledge of Agile development methodology.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, and end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines.
- US citizenship or Green Card, at least 3 years of US residency, and eligibility for a Public Trust position are required.
Nice to have
- AWS or Cypress certification.
- ETL experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
