Material Planner (SAP)

Location: Dalmine, Bergamo, Italy; hybrid work model

Minimum annual salary: €39,000, plus eligibility for a company productivity bonus.

What you will do

• Execute daily plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and manage production requirements against delivery schedules.
• Monitor schedule adherence, identify root causes of deviations, and support improvement actions.
• Align material availability with production targets, manage stock profiles, and segment materials using ABC/XYZ analysis.
• Define inventory policies based on material segmentation and support inventory target achievement.
• Collaborate with buyers to improve supplier delivery, MOQ, quality, lead time, and flexibility.
• Manage daily MRP exception messages and support cycle counting and year-end inventory counting.

Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in comparable planning positions.
• Knowledge of SAP and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ownership, problem-solving ability, proactive approach, teamwork, communication skills, and courage.
• Professional written and spoken Italian and English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive or home appliances industry.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
