What you will do

• Partner with a manager and risk professionals on department and organization initiatives.
• Support projects involving data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and risk evaluation.
• Analyze trends to help identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop recommendations to improve department activities and business initiatives.
• Work independently and collaboratively while participating in internship events and development activities.
• Build an understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.

Requirements

• High school graduate and currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program.
• Have at least one quarter or semester of school remaining after completion of the summer program.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities or work experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Coursework or a major in risk management and insurance, finance, accounting, economics, business or data analytics, or management information systems.
• Coursework in risk management, statistics, data analytics, compliance, or regulatory studies.
• Interest or experience in risk management, compliance, audit, finance, data analytics, or financial services.
• Strong interest in banking and sound judgment in a dynamic environment.
