Salary: $23–$50 per hour national internship pay range

What you will do

• Lead a self-directed continuous improvement project and support process automation initiatives.
• Review and update standard operating procedures.
• Assist with financial reporting, special projects, statutory accounting schedules, and documentation.
• Reconcile balance sheets and audit expenses.
• Manage risk and controls, including testing and reporting.
• Assist with tax return preparation, filing, and escheat filings.

Requirements

• Accounting student seeking hands-on experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting.
• Availability for a hybrid internship in Columbus, Ohio.
• Interest in accounting operations, reinsurance accounting, financial reporting controls, tax, risk management, and compliance.
• hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.
