Bilingual Public Benefit Supervisor (Healthcare)

Location: West Reading, Pennsylvania; applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States

Salary: $52,100–$65,125 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day operations and task functionality within the Eligibility Services department.
• Monitor staff productivity, account-level outcomes, workflow, and quality standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on department, hospital system, and government benefit program policies and procedures.
• Coach and develop staff, identify performance improvement opportunities, and support time and attendance compliance.
• Build working relationships with county, state, and federal Medicaid caseworker partners.
• Collaborate with Case Management, Patient Access, Financial Counseling, physician office staff, and other revenue cycle departments; travel when needed.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience interacting with patients about hospital financial issues.
• Superior customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
• Strong computer skills, multitasking ability, and experience managing workflow and quality standards.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Demonstrated advanced use of AI and experience managing teams using AI to improve processes and technology.
• High school diploma or GED; equivalent post-secondary education and experience may be considered. CRCR certification is required within nine months of hire.
