What you will do

• Analyze and triage quality issues, assign owners, identify risks, and manage problem resolution.
• Lead daily reviews and cross-functional workshops covering activities, timing, and RASIC alignment.
• Escalate significant risks and influence positive outcomes through data and collaboration.
• Capture lessons learned across design and process quality activities, including DFMEA, PFMEA, and DVP.
• Use AI to analyze data, solve problems, and integrate solutions.
• Manage high-mileage and fast-feedback fleets, including customer data collection during the first 90 days of vehicle ownership and coordination of external or contract resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or the sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in automotive engineering or product quality.
• Deep technical knowledge of vehicle and product design, development, and manufacturing.
• Experience launching new programs on time while meeting quality and program metrics.
• Working knowledge of NHTSA FMVSS requirements and CAE methods for safety, NVH, and durability optimization.
• Advanced product assessment, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification, including IDDOV or DMAIC.
• Experience with Structured Problem Solving, DFSS, Red X, or equivalent methodologies.
