Resource Manager

Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL, United States (Hybrid: 4 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Lead weekly resourcing meetings to ensure talent is properly utilized and resolve workload conflicts.
• Partner with departmental leadership to make staffing recommendations based on skillsets and career aspirations.
• Identify needs for freelance talent and manage the hiring process when internal options are exhausted.
• Collaborate with operations to review utilization reports and develop action plans for leadership.
• Support the resource management department with administrative tasks, including meeting coordination and expense reporting.
• Work with Talent Acquisition and HR to onboard new hires and freelancers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of resource management experience in the advertising/marketing industry.
• Must be able to work in the Chicago office 4 days a week.
• Deep understanding of agency functional roles and responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Proactive approach to prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
