Senior Software Engineer (React)

Location: Remote within the USA

Salary: $115,000–$180,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Colorado range: $130,000–$170,000.

hirify.global develops procurement, ecommerce, and practice management platforms for the veterinary and animal health industry.

What you will do

• Conceptualize and document product features and enhancements.
• Build and extend interactive React applications used by veterinary purchasers, hospital groups, and animal health manufacturers.
• Implement features in React Native applications.
• Design reusable components for use across the engineering team.
• Develop API endpoints and work with data models, databases, and query optimization.
• Collaborate with the CTO, engineering, product, and other functions to evolve the platform.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Computer Science.
• Professional experience with a modern web framework and JavaScript.
• Experience with a backend language, ORM, API endpoints, databases, and query optimization.
• Strong software testing, communication, adaptability, and multitasking skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Startup work experience.
• Experience with additional industry-common programming languages.
