System Interfaces and Design Group Lead (Systems Engineering)

Salary: $95,000–$245,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Lead and manage a group of approximately 15–20 systems engineers.
• Define complex systems from requirements and architectural perspectives, including requirements decomposition, system partitioning, and interface management.
• Serve as the lead subject matter expert and ensure the quality of technical work products.
• Manage performance goals, career development, check-ins, evaluations, and technical growth opportunities for group members.
• Build engineering capabilities aligned with customer priorities, technology roadmaps, and hirify.global strategy.
• Direct R&D activities, research proposals, university collaborations, and Scholar, co-op, and internship cohorts.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, design, development, and management of complex systems.
• Strong ability to supervise a team of 10–20 people.
• Excellent written, verbal, and technical presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Secret government security clearance is required and must be obtained and maintained.
