What you will do

  • Manage and provide leadership to the Reporting Analysis team covering IFRS, UK GAAP, and Solvency II results.
  • Oversee, review, and challenge the analysis of profit and change for all regulated insurance entities.
  • Ensure compliance with latest accounting and actuarial standards and hirify.global’s internal methodologies.
  • Support the regulated insurance entity board and audit committee in financial reporting production.
  • Manage external audit processes and address audit queries to support statutory reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement and transformational change in financial reporting processes and outputs.

Requirements

  • Accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACA, ACCA) is required.
  • Extensive experience in Life Insurance financial analysis under IFRS, Solvency II, and UK GAAP.
  • Strong understanding of with-profits product complexities.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead large, complex teams within financial services.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a strategic, big-picture mindset.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels across the business.
