Renewables Origination Analytics Internship Program (Renewable Energy)

Location: Berlin, Germany; full-time, on site. Six-month internship from 15 February to 12 August 2027; applicants must be available to start on 15 February 2027.

What you will do

• Support commercial, analytical, product strategy, and process improvement projects within the Renewables Origination team.
• Research renewable energy developers, projects, corporate off-takers, partnerships, and potential deals.
• Maintain, analyse, and improve CRM data to support pipeline visibility, reporting, and workflow automation.
• Analyse market, client, commercial, and process data to support business development and decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings to commercial, technical, operational, trading, legal, and operations stakeholders.
• Explore practical applications of AI-enabled tools and machine learning to improve team processes and efficiency.

Requirements

• Relevant academic background in engineering, energy economics, business, finance, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative or commercial discipline.
• Data analysis skills, including experience with Python or a similar analytical tool.
• Evidence of applying data analysis, coding, automation, commercial analysis, or quantitative methods to a practical problem.
• Demonstrable interest in renewable energy markets and relevant industry developments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare clear presentations and explain analysis to different audiences.
• Business-level English and German proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, data visualisation, machine learning, AI tools, or workflow automation.
• Exposure to Salesforce, CRM, workflow, or process automation tools.
• Familiarity with renewables origination, PPAs, renewable asset development, energy economics, or power markets.
• Experience preparing business presentations, commercial analysis, or strategy materials.
