Financial Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead and coach an accounting team, assign priorities, provide feedback, and maintain operational continuity.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee general ledger and related processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and cash management.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, tax compliance support, and internal and external audit requests.
• Present close status, metrics, management reporting, risks, and recommendations to Finance leadership while partnering with FP&A and business leaders on OPEX planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years of related experience.
• Progressive experience in general accounting, period close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating others, with strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including GAAP, statutory reporting, and tax compliance support.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, standardized close tools, process documentation, and Microsoft Excel.
• Business-level English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA, and/or an advanced degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in international, shared services, distribution, or commercial environments.
• Audit experience, including external or statutory audits.
• Experience with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP requirements.
• Additional language skills depending on stakeholder needs.
