API Integration Developer (MuleSoft)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate enterprise integration flows with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, reusable connectors, and robust error handling.
• Apply API-led connectivity using System, Process, and Experience APIs; design and publish documented APIs through API Designer and Anypoint Exchange.
• Configure CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, and hybrid Mule runtimes for different workload requirements.
• Implement secure and event-driven integrations using OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, Anypoint API Manager, Anypoint MQ, Salesforce Platform Events, and Kafka.
• Optimize performance, monitoring, alerting, and operational support while migrating legacy Oracle SOA and BizTalk integrations to MuleSoft.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, maintain technical documentation, review designs and code, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with architecture, security, application, operations, and business teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of integration development experience, including strong hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, Mule runtime, API-led connectivity, and RAML/OAS API design.
• Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid deployment, plus CI/CD for MuleSoft applications.
• Experience with API security standards including OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and Anypoint API Manager.
• Experience with event-driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka and integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or ServiceNow.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect credentials.
• Exposure to multi-cloud Mule runtime deployment, FinOps, integration cost management, zero-trust API security, or GraphQL APIs on Anypoint Platform.
