Talent Acquisition Lead (AI)

Location: Manchester, UK; hybrid, with up to 4 days working from home per week. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per year, depending on experience.

A Manchester-based PropTech business founded in 2015, developing software products that help UK estate agencies generate instructions, manage customer relationships, streamline operations, and grow market share.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end recruitment for the most senior, niche, confidential, and newly created roles.
• Connect hiring priorities and search strategies to commercial goals.
• Investigate recruitment funnel issues using qualitative and quantitative data and market research.
• Improve candidate attraction, employer brand, candidate experience, sourcing strategy, assessment, and recruiting tooling.
• Partner with the Head of People to prioritize, measure, and deliver high-impact talent acquisition initiatives.
• Share expertise, coach colleagues, and raise hiring standards across the recruiting team without direct reports initially.

Requirements

• Senior recruiter with deep full-cycle talent acquisition expertise and a strong understanding of external market practices.
• Experience delivering difficult senior and niche searches independently.
• Commercial judgment and a focus on quality of hire rather than hiring volume.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge department heads and communicate difficult market information to leadership.
• Evidence of knowledge sharing, coaching, and improving the performance of colleagues.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Active participation in talent acquisition communities and interest in industry trends and emerging tools.
• Experience using AI to improve recruiting workflows; the role specifically references Claude Cowork and other AI tools.

Hiring process

• 60-minute video call with the Head of People.
• In-person interview with two members of the People team.
• Final interview with two members of the senior leadership team; three stages in total.
