Product Manager (Insurance Vertical)

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 USD base compensation per year

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the insurance product backlog and maintain the product roadmap.
• Write user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, requirements, and workflow documentation for Engineering and UX.
• Coordinate with Engineering, UX, Integrations, Implementations, Customer Success, Sales, and Product Marketing to support product delivery and customer launches.
• Define and track success metrics, analyze adoption and performance, and use customer feedback to guide prioritization.
• Research insurance workflows and market opportunities through interviews, workflow reviews, experimentation, surveys, and usability studies.
• Use GenAI to accelerate user story creation, analyze customer feedback, and identify actionable insights.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in insurance or vertical SaaS product management, with direct ownership of a product area, vertical, or payment workflow.
• Experience in insurance, payments, EBPP, or operationally complex B2B SaaS environments.
• Experience with product analytics tools such as Pendo, Amplitude, or Mixpanel and data tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, or Looker.
• Daily practical fluency with AI tools for research, drafting, and synthesis.
• Experience managing a backlog and collaborating with Engineering and Design leads in Agile environments; familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
