Quality Manufacturing Engineer - Power Transformers

Location: Office/site only in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Candidates outside the Charlotte area must be willing to relocate to the United States. Willingness to work different shift schedules and travel abroad for training is required.

What you will do

• Support power transformer manufacturing processes with specialized technical and quality expertise.
• Monitor compliance with technology, manufacturing, internal, and customer quality requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve transparency for timely decisions.
• Conduct on-the-job training for manufacturing staff based on detected deviations.
• Maintain business and manufacturing documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Identify, assess, and control risks while driving quality culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in power transformer manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards in the transformer manufacturing industry.
• Experience with FMEA and 8D quality tools.
• Willingness to work different shifts and travel abroad for training.
• If not already located in Charlotte, willingness to relocate is required.
