Manufacturing Technician, Filling INSP A-1 (Biotechnology)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. All shifts and required overtime may be required. Relocation benefits are not available.

Salary: $43,260–$80,340 for the Manufacturing Technician MT2 level and $52,080–$96,720 for the Manufacturing Technician MT3 level, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Operate formulation, sterile filling, inspection, and packaging equipment in an automated production facility.
• Perform bulk thaw, dilution, formulation, environmental monitoring, manual vial inspection, and sterile component preparation.
• Set up, change over, test, repair, maintain, calibrate, and assemble production equipment.
• Execute production recipes using SAP and MES systems while maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.
• Assist with equipment overhauls, repairs, installations, and technician training.
• Follow plant safety policies, cGMPs, SOPs, product recipes, and cleaning and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of recent experience operating complex mechanical equipment used in washing, filling, conveying, sealing, inspection, or packaging is highly desirable.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biomedical, electronic, chemical, food, cosmetics, or other medical industries is relevant.
• Computer literacy, including experience with computer systems, PLC-based logic, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication is required.
• Ability to work first, second, or third shifts and required overtime; successful completion of job-related medical and periodic physical examinations is required.

Nice to have

• Two-year associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with complex production and packaging equipment.
