Sr. Software Engineer - Agentic AI

What you will do

• Architect and build end-to-end agentic workflows covering planning, tool use, memory, retrieval, execution, and feedback loops.
• Deliver APIs and platform services for agentic capabilities on a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Implement guardrails for policy enforcement, prompt and tool security, secrets handling, auditability, abuse prevention, and data boundaries.
• Define automated evaluation strategies, including offline test suites, regression harnesses, golden tasks, telemetry-driven iteration, and failure-mode analysis.
• Own production reliability through instrumentation, tracing, debugging, runbooks, incident response learning, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, UX, Security, SRE, and Engineering teams, while providing technical mentorship and leadership through influence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 7+ years with a master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep expertise designing highly available and scalable distributed systems with resiliency, rate limiting, backpressure, and multi-region considerations.
• Production software engineering experience with Golang, Python, Java, or a similar language, including testing and API design.
• Hands-on experience building agentic applications or services using tool orchestration, function calling, RAG, memory strategies, planning and execution loops, and failure recovery.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, SQL or NoSQL data systems, and security risks in agentic or LLM systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms or edge and distributed compute.
• Knowledge of L3–L7 networking concepts for secure application delivery.
• Experience building AI developer platforms or workflow-orchestration SDKs.
• Familiarity with observability stacks and operating production systems at scale.
