IT Infrastructure Engineer (VMware)

What you will do

• Implement, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across VMware, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Windows Server, networking, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Support infrastructure operations across multiple locations and customer-facing hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Support upgrades, patching, configuration changes, monitoring, and security improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and ITIL-based service processes.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, infrastructure projects, and technical guidance for junior engineers.

Requirements

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of compute and server platforms, storage technologies, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Azure, and networking.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders in a global environment.

Nice to have

• VMware vSphere or VMware Cloud Foundation experience.
• Windows and advanced Linux administration.
• Active Directory, Microsoft 365, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Infrastructure automation and scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Monitoring and logging, cybersecurity fundamentals, project delivery, and experience with mission-critical environments.
