Azure Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Hybrid position in Stuttgart, Germany

What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain Azure network infrastructures using hub-and-spoke and hybrid connectivity models.
• Configure and operate Palo Alto firewalls in Azure, including policies, NAT rules, routing, and security zones.
• Provide Level-2 support for Azure networking and firewall incidents and service requests.
• Support Azure projects from architectural design through implementation and go-live as a networking subject-matter expert.
• Define, document, and improve Azure network standards, reference architectures, security compliance, and cloud networking practices.
• Support networking automation and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable education.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Practical experience with Palo Alto firewalls, preferably in Azure environments.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, DNS, IP addressing, VPN, and security concepts.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and hands-on Level-2 operational support experience.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-700.
