IT Service Lead Backup Management On-Prem & Cloud (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of global backup services across on-premises infrastructure, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
• Design and implement modern backup architectures for hybrid IT environments.
• Monitor backup and restore operations, handle incidents, and maintain stable, secure, and highly available services.
• Strengthen cyber resilience through immutability, encryption, ransomware protection, and recovery strategies.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery tests to enable fast recovery of business-critical systems.
• Collaborate with IT security, architecture, cloud teams, global stakeholders, and vendors while driving continuous improvement and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on backup and recovery.
• Strong enterprise expertise in Commvault and Veeam; certification is preferred.
• Experience with Azure Backup, cloud services, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
• Solid knowledge of file system management in on-premises and cloud environments and of data availability.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, ransomware protection, and compliance requirements.
• Strong English communication skills and experience working with global stakeholders.
