Senior Technical Program Manager (IoT)

Location: Remote within the United States; San Francisco, California

Salary: $136,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program management for complex, multi-team technical initiatives from scoping and planning through launch and retrospectives.
• Coordinate engineering, product, design, software, embedded, and hardware teams around milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Drive sprint planning, quarterly roadmap planning, and OKR processes with clear priorities, timelines, and success criteria.
• Build dashboards, status reports, and roadmap views that provide real-time visibility into delivery health.
• Identify blockers, facilitate escalations and decisions, and lead cross-functional working groups and program syncs.
• Coordinate dependencies and joint deliverables with fire agencies, government entities, and utility companies while supporting sustainable team capacity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or a closely related field.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technical programs with concurrent workstreams and diverse stakeholders.
• Technical fluency in system architecture, APIs, platform integrations, and sprint-level planning.
• Expertise in Agile and Scrum, with hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, Linear, or equivalent tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.

Nice to have

• Experience in a hardware/software or IoT company.
• Familiarity with camera platforms, geospatial data, or real-time data pipelines.
• Experience working with government agencies, utilities, or public safety partners.
