Technical Program Manager, Architecture (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in Santa Clara, California, United States

Compensation: $100,000–$500,000 annually, including base and variable compensation targets.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end execution of next-generation SoC programs from early architecture through RTL, verification, DFT, physical design, tape-out, and post-silicon validation.
• Coordinate hardware, software, and system teams across complex, cross-functional engineering programs.
• Manage dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and execution risks.
• Align technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear communication and structured reporting.
• Support system-level tradeoff decisions across power, performance, area, and time-to-market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of semiconductor experience in CPU, physical design, RTL, design verification, or program management.
• Strong understanding of chip architecture, design flows, and system-level tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with compute and SoC standards, including ARM, RISC-V, AI accelerators, and interconnect protocols.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional engineering teams and managing dependencies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, plus structured reporting.
