Field Application Engineer (VPX)

Location: Los Angeles office, onsite, with short-notice travel to customer sites

What you will do

• Provide face-to-face technical support to customers.
• Work with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to define and use single-board computers and embedded systems.
• Deliver pre- and post-sales customer support.
• Lead application engineering support in the US office and coordinate with other application engineers.
• Assemble and integrate embedded systems.
• Travel to customer sites at short notice when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working directly with customers.
• High-level knowledge of embedded engineering.
• Technical knowledge of VPX and its ecosystem for deployable ruggedized systems.
• Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, and VxWorks.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable US Government export control requirements.
