Principal Engineer SoC Design Lead

What you will do

• Define SoC and subsystem architectures covering processors, accelerators, memory hierarchies, NoC/interconnects, clocking, resets, interrupts, interfaces, and peripherals.
• Develop microarchitectural specifications and lead complex RTL subsystem development and top-level integration.
• Evaluate and integrate internal and third-party IP while establishing reuse methodologies across product generations.
• Drive performance, power, area, functionality, timing, integration, and scalability tradeoffs through tapeout and silicon bring-up.
• Resolve issues across architecture, RTL, verification, DFT, and physical design teams, including post-silicon debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews and design signoffs, and influence engineering methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience architecting and delivering complex SoCs.
• Strong knowledge of memory hierarchies, NoCs, bus architectures, and system integration.
• Expertise in RTL development using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Experience analyzing architecture, performance, power, and area tradeoffs.

• Experience with automotive or safety-critical systems.
• Experience with multicore systems, security, and functional safety architectures.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience with advanced implementation and signoff flows.
