Thermal Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid work in München or Berlin, Germany

What you will do

• Analyze, size, and design satellite thermal control systems.
• Develop thermal models and simulate satellite thermal performance.
• Support thermal and thermal-vacuum testing of satellites and subsystems.
• Advise hardware developers on design decisions and material selection.
• Prepare and maintain design specifications, test reports, and other technical documentation.
• Manage thermal interfaces with external vendors and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing.
• Knowledge of satellite and subsystem design lifecycles.
• Proficiency with thermal modeling and simulation tools such as Simcenter 3D.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
