What you will do

• Measure specimens before and after testing and document all results and non-conformities.
• Prepare specimens, inspect materials, and set up testing equipment.
• Conduct material property testing using various systems and perform microscope checks for production and quality engineering.
• Maintain laboratory systems and support 5S workplace organization initiatives.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve lab service requests and improve existing processes.
• Assist in creating new test setups to support mission-critical objectives.

Requirements

• Education: Mechanical degree or equivalent technical master/technician qualification.
• Experience: 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in technical drawing, hand gauges, and material testing machines.
• Languages: Fluent German and English required.
• Soft Skills: Strong initiative, independence, self-organization, and analytical thinking.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the aerospace industry.
