Senior Financial Manager (Defense)

What you will do

• Prepare and deliver compliant financial management documents for planning, programming, budgeting, execution, U.S. programs, and Foreign Military Sales.
• Develop program budgets, financial reports, forecasts, execution documentation, and funding analyses.
• Identify and analyze variances, schedules, obligations, expenditures, and earned value management data.
• Prepare financial inputs for budget execution reviews, integrated baseline reviews, milestone decision reviews, monthly activity reports, program management reviews, and risk assessments.
• Draft and track purchase requests, military interdepartmental purchase requests, project orders, procurement documents, and other funding documentation.
• Maintain financial databases, audit trails, reimbursable budget records, delivery order reports, customer usage fee reports, and ad hoc financial analyses.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Secret security clearance is required.
• Master’s degree in a related field and seven years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree and ten years of experience.
• Associate’s degree with fifteen years of relevant experience may also qualify.
• Knowledge of financial management, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytical methods.
• Experience with DoD financial systems and applications such as BQ, MOCAS, IDECS, FM-Suite, EDA, CCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, and G-Invoicing.
• Willingness to travel if required and ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including ascending and descending stairs and moving equipment up to 25 lbs.
