FMS Financial Analyst (Defense)

What you will do

• Provide entry-level financial and program management database support for Foreign Military Sales customers.
• Support budget administration, budget execution, funding programs, and financial management activities.
• Operate multiple complex management information systems and identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
• Prepare and support financial and program management reporting.
• Assist with coordinating and attending Program Management Reviews with customers.
• Contribute to process and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with zero years of experience, or eight additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple complex information systems with limited formal documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing large volumes of financial and program data.
• Ability to follow established processes while adapting to changing government financial systems and reporting requirements.

Nice to have

• BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with 0–2 years of experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel with Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, Power Query, or similar analytical tools.
• Experience reconciling data between multiple systems and researching inconsistencies.
• Experience supporting government, defense, logistics, acquisition, or financial management programs.
