Technical Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Annual base pay: $144,000–$216,000

What you will do

• Lead complex technical programs from discovery and planning through launch and post-launch learning.
• Coordinate engineering, product, QA, security, SRE/operations, support, and go-to-market stakeholders.
• Manage roadmaps, release plans, dependencies, critical paths, tradeoffs, and escalation processes.
• Define program metrics, dashboards, governance, and executive-ready reporting.
• Identify and mitigate delivery, quality, reliability, and security risks.
• Build scalable planning, intake, release-readiness, change-management, documentation, and continuous-improvement mechanisms.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, system design, APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, reliability, and security concepts.
• Experience leading multi-team programs through discovery, planning, execution, launch, and post-launch activities.
• Expertise in integrated planning, dependency management, critical-path analysis, risk management, and escalation leadership.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or Excel, dashboards, decision logs, and RAID management.
• Strong data fluency, executive-ready communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and influence without authority.
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments and mentor junior TPMs and project coordinators.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform, infrastructure, security, or large-scale product programs and multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Background in cloud, networking, DevOps, reliability engineering, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with operational readiness, incident-response preparation, and post-launch operational excellence.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum, cloud, or security certifications.
