Senior Manager, Site Merchandising (eCommerce)

Location: Hoboken, New Jersey, United States

Annual salary: $108,000–$216,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the holistic site strategy for a department within a Strategic Business Unit.
• Oversee visual merchandising, content strategy, navigation, hierarchy, search, browse, functionality, product onboarding, and campaign execution.
• Use customer insights, trend forecasts, taxonomy, and search capabilities to improve the online customer journey.
• Develop site metrics and dashboards to monitor site health and performance and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, scale best practices, and establish governance.
• Build efficient workflows, drive operational excellence, and develop team members through mentoring and coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or a related area and 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive or visual design, business management, or a related area.
• Strong customer focus and ability to make analytical, data-driven decisions.
• Ability to set team objectives and performance measures and develop future leaders.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience in merchandising, site merchandising, or a related field.
• 4+ years of team management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a consumer-focused eCommerce environment.
• Master’s degree in merchandising, visual design, business, or a related field.
