Business Manager | S3 | T&O | Milton Keynes (Finance)

Location: Milton Keynes, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance required at least 12 days per month.

Salary: £49,274–£73,912 per annum, plus a £6,000 annual car allowance.

What you will do

• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the Business Solutions area.
• Track financial performance, analyse P&L results, identify risks and opportunities, and provide management insight.
• Develop and improve financial control and governance frameworks.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, scenario modelling and recommendations for investment and business planning.
• Coordinate governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across multiple teams.
• Drive cost optimisation, efficiency and continuous improvement while aligning capacity planning with workforce strategy.

Requirements

• Significant experience in financial management, planning, forecasting and control within a complex business environment, ideally in financial services.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L performance, financial reporting and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including forecasting, scenario modelling and complex data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, P&L management, financial control, reporting tools and governance frameworks.
• Fluent written and verbal English and the right to work in the UK are required.

Nice to have

• Experience leading optimisation, transformation or efficiency initiatives.
• ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification, or progress toward qualification.
• Experience with financial systems and performance reporting in a regulated environment.
• Additional European language capability.
