HCUK Head of Treasury

Location: Hybrid working in the United Kingdom, with the usual place of work at the HCUK head office in Reigate, Surrey and a minimum of two office days per week. Some international and domestic travel may be required.

Salary: £90,000–£110,000 per year, dependent on experience and expertise, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of treasury strategy, including capital structure, funding, liquidity, financial risk management, and treasury controls.
• Manage liquidity, debt capital markets activity, bank loans, securitization, funding structures, and treasury-related risks.
• Develop annual treasury plans, forecasts, budgets, and analyses of financial market impacts.
• Monitor liquidity risks, hedge positions, cost of funds, treasury performance, stress testing, contingency planning, and early warning indicators.
• Prepare treasury dashboards, investor reporting, committee materials, and reports for shareholders and senior management through ALCO.
• Lead and develop direct reports, setting objectives and supporting training and professional development.

Requirements

• Experience leading a treasury team across securitization and bond issuances, ALM, treasury planning, contingency funding planning, and cost of funds management.
• Relevant financial services experience and strong knowledge of debt capital markets and applicable regulations.
• Experience building financial models and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Relevant treasury or accountancy qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA, or demonstrable equivalent treasury experience.
• A relevant degree or demonstrable equivalent treasury experience, with awareness of the FCA-regulated environment and SMCR Certified Person responsibilities.
