What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales, business development, operations, servicing, and digital engagement.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, and select branch employees while managing performance and staffing.
• Identify retail and business banking needs and provide short- and long-term financial solutions.
• Prospect for new business banking relationships, conduct outside calling, and build the bank’s community presence.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle products and services appropriately.
• Own complex customer service and error-resolution issues while maintaining operational, security, compliance, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Ability to maintain SAFE Act registration requirements and meet applicable insurance licensing and Business Banking Specialist expectations.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, and email.
