Senor Corporate Counsel, International (MedTech)

Location: Remote or home-based, preferably in Switzerland; candidates in the United Kingdom or other European countries may also be considered.

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret distribution, procurement, supplier, sales, marketing, and commercial partnership agreements.
• Advise sales, marketing, distribution, procurement, and senior business leaders on commercial risks and practical legal solutions.
• Support direct and distributor markets across Europe, the Middle East, and other international territories.
• Advise on regulatory, product, contractual, privacy, compliance, employment, and operational matters.
• Support public procurement and healthcare tender processes, including NHS and European purchasing opportunities.
• Collaborate with US-based legal specialists and manage external counsel when specialist advice is required.

Requirements

• Law degree and qualification as a lawyer, solicitor, barrister, or equivalent legal professional in England and Wales, Switzerland, Germany, or another major European jurisdiction.
• At least 12 years of post-qualification legal experience, including 5 or more years in an in-house commercial legal role.
• Significant experience in medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare technology, life sciences, or a related regulated industry.
• Strong commercial contract drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and risk-management expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of medical device regulation, healthcare reimbursement, public procurement, tender processes, data privacy, and digital health regulation.
• Fluent English and German are required.

• French language skills.
• Experience with employment law, contentious matters, intellectual property, or healthcare marketing and promotion.
