What you will do

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using layouts, blueprints, manuals, sketches, and drawings.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checkouts.
  • Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
  • Modify equipment as directed by manufacturing engineers.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of related experience.
  • Substantial knowledge of the role and the ability to complete a wide range of technical tasks.
  • Ability to use judgment when resolving equipment issues and making recommendations.
  • Ability to work from general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
