Principal Solutions Architect (East) (Cloud Networking)

Location: United States (Remote); flexibility to travel to customer sites is required.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Embed with strategic enterprise customers as the hands-on technical owner from evaluation through production deployment, adoption, and expansion.
• Lead network architecture discussions, technical workshops, training sessions, and whiteboard sessions with customers and partners.
• Design, build, and deploy hirify.global-based hybrid and public cloud networking solutions using best practices.
• Develop infrastructure automation, integrations, and deployment tooling with Terraform, APIs, scripting, and related technologies.
• Provide deep technical support and troubleshooting, escalating issues and driving resolution with Engineering.
• Create reference architectures and deployment guidelines while communicating customer requirements to Product Management and Engineering.

Requirements

• Strong cloud and networking fundamentals, including routing technologies and network security.
• At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or professional services.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience architecting and deploying cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OCI.
• Hands-on experience designing and building hybrid and public cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, and REST APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; relevant technical certifications and a BA/BS/MS degree are advantageous.
