Specialist Solutions Architect - Cloud Infrastructure & Platform (Azure)

Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annually, with potential annual performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Guide enterprise customers through the architecture, administration, security, and production deployment of Databricks on Azure.
• Design secure and scalable Azure environments covering VNets, Private Endpoints, identity, networking, and compliance.
• Partner with Solutions Architects during technical sales cycles by creating proof-of-concept architectures and technical content.
• Advise customers as a subject matter expert in Azure infrastructure, cloud networking, identity management, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Share knowledge through tutorials, hackathons, conference presentations, and open-source community contributions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in a technical role with deep Microsoft Azure expertise.
• 5+ years of experience with distributed architectures and big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, including pre-sales, post-sales, or consulting.
• Deep expertise in at least one area: Azure security and identity, networking and deployments, platform administration, or infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala and strong SQL proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; ability to meet training and technical delivery milestones within six months.

Nice to have

• Databricks and/or Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer.
