Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD annually, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do
- Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks deployments on Microsoft Azure, from architecture design to production.
- Design secure, scalable deployments using Azure networking, identity, security, and compliance controls.
- Advise on platform administration, infrastructure automation, observability, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost management.
- Develop custom technical solutions and demonstrate Databricks differentiation in competitive scenarios.
- Coordinate DSAs, SAs, SSAs, and partners to deliver complex customer solutions.
- Provide structured customer and competitive feedback to influence product direction.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
- Advanced expertise in Azure security, identity, enterprise networking, platform administration, and infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
- Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, including live coding, debugging, and solution building.
- Experience designing distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience; willingness to travel up to 30%.
Nice to have
- Databricks or Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS native services, or Azure Synapse.
- Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider.
