Integration Developer (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid work model with office locations in Lisbon – Expo and Vila Nova de Gaia – Cais de Gaia, Portugal.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support interfaces between clinical and enterprise business systems.
• Develop database and data integrations using relational databases and PL/SQL.
• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions with Kafka.
• Work with HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Analyze integration issues, improve system reliability and performance, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Solid knowledge of PL/SQL, relational databases, and data integration concepts.
• Experience with Kafka, HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, and clinical systems in healthcare environments.
• Ability to work independently on new development and maintenance of existing integrations.
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English are required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Agile working skills are also expected.
