Infrastructure Security Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain; office-first hybrid work with on-site attendance 80% of the time and remote work 20% of the time.

Salary: €42,800–€77,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own infrastructure security strategy across cloud environments and integrate security into system architecture.
• Monitor alerts and incidents, conduct investigations, and identify infrastructure root causes.
• Lead infrastructure vulnerability assessment, remediation, risk-register management, and mitigation prioritization.
• Implement hardening strategies and resilience controls across infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Develop and manage CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability-scanning, and automated compliance tooling.
• Secure CI/CD infrastructure and runners while collaborating with Infra, IT, DX, and SRE teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure security or security engineering.
• Experience with cloud environments, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization, especially Kubernetes.
• Experience managing EDR, CNAPP, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability-management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud threats, network security, Linux/Unix hardening, and IAM.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and AI-assisted scripting or automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
