What you will do

  • Integrate radar and electronic warfare sensors for the B-52 Stratofortress division.
  • Perform requirements, capacity, architecture, trade-off, and systems engineering analyses.
  • Develop and review systems engineering documentation for milestone reviews, technical meetings, and interface control working groups.
  • Support hardware and software development, subsystem integration laboratories, hardware-in-the-loop activities, ground tests, flight tests, and operational evaluations.
  • Support airworthiness directives, platform approval, and certification using MIL-HDBK-516 criteria.
  • Analyze radar waveforms, antennas, transmitters, receivers, digital signal processing, tracking, data integration, and radar performance in EMI, electronic countermeasure, multipath, ducting, and clutter environments.

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or a Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
  • Knowledge of radar theory and principles.
  • Understanding of radar design, development, and implementation processes.
  • Ability to communicate with engineering functions including structures, crew systems, EMI, reliability and maintainability, manufacturing, and system safety.
