TL;DR
Senior RF Engineer (RF/radar): Providing subject matter expertise and technical leadership for radar, foreign air defense, and weapon system analysis supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs with an accent on all-source intelligence, modeling and simulation, and aircraft survivability. Focus on developing radar system models, assessing complex system performance, advising acquisition and test organizations, and leading multidisciplinary technical programs.

What you will do
- Serve as the senior RF and radar subject matter expert for complex foreign air defense and weapon system analyses.
- Lead all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis of current and future weapon systems.
- Develop and apply radar system and subsystem models and simulations to assess performance and aircraft survivability.
- Advise U.S. acquisition programs and government stakeholders on technical risks, capabilities, and analytical findings.
- Lead multidisciplinary technical, hardware, foreign materiel exploitation, and multinational programs.
- Prepare technical reports, briefings, training, and conference materials for senior government, defense, and operational audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in RF engineering, radar systems, weapon system analysis, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated expertise in radar systems and subsystems and complex foreign air defense or weapon systems.
- Experience with all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis, modeling and simulation, and aircraft survivability problems.
- Experience providing technical leadership and advice to Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, acquisition, test and evaluation, or operational organizations.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and ability to satisfy the counterintelligence polygraph requirement.
Nice to have
- More than 25 years of experience in radar, RF, scientific and technical intelligence, or foreign weapon system analysis.
- Experience advising major aircraft acquisition or advanced and special access programs.
- Experience leading international intelligence exchanges, allied technical collaboration, or large technical conferences.
- Experience designing and teaching radar courses and mentoring engineers and analysts.
