Clinical System Lead

Location: Remote or office-based in Canada, Colombia, or Mexico; approximately 15% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead and direct clinical data science project teams responsible for clinical trial systems from initiation through closure.
• Support business development activities, including bid defense meetings and technical expertise.
• Review study-team technical documentation, work outputs, and case report forms for quality.
• Serve as a contact point for internal and external customer teams and support project kickoff meetings.
• Monitor risks affecting timelines, scope, and budget, escalating potential problems and negotiating deliverables.
• Oversee system integration setup, vendor interactions, and project revenue and resource forecasting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical data management experience, including implementation and management of clinical data systems.
• Technical understanding of relational databases and ability to create medium- to complex-level data flow diagrams.
• Applied project management skills covering timelines, resource requirements, and financial tracking.
• Understanding of clinical protocols, data collection requirements, user experience, and underlying dataset structures.
• Ability to lead internal user acceptance testing of configured system solutions and adapt to changing requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applications must be submitted in English.
